AGV visor problem

1 Attachment(s)
Hi all,

last year I have bought this AGV helmet hoping I would get the bike around the same time, but lack of funds have prevented me of doing so. So I stored the helmet In the spare room waiting to get the bike. On friday I went to get the my first bike (will post pics soon) and it was the first time I wore the helmet on the bike. Everything seemed to be fine but the visor seems to have a patch where the inside is bubbling. I have never seen anything like this before on the helmet, is this normal or should I replace the visor (seems bit silly considering this is the first time i wore the helmet) it does not affect the view from the inside of helmet.

Thanks

I have returned 2 agv helmets in the last few weeks the first was a S-4 sv the visor on that had a problem with the anti fog coating and half the visor would fog up if you slowed down! And it had a mental whistle from one of the vents. I returned it and got a Stealth SV. It had no problem with fogging but still had a whistle over 60mph :( To make it worse when it rained water came down the inside of the visor! Just returned it today and I am going to wait for the new shark range to come in. I would bring it back to the shop and explain your story. At the least they should give you a good deal on a new visor.

I've been looking for the receipt, can't find it. I bought the helmet in peterborough last year on the bike show. I think the company was from london but will have to have a look. I tried to clear the coating and now it keeps on fogging up. I guess I'll have to get the new visor like you said, thanks for the advice tho... :(

Re: AVG visor problem

THe whistling is actually a poor fitting visor....if you look closely youll see a slightly flush fit. Need to loosen the side panel's push the visor down right and tighten again. ( very tricky to do with the visor on btw)

Would agv not have done this adjustment after sending it back to them instead of replacing it?

Im going to be guessing no....but have a look at the visor seating against the rubber seal around the edge.
