bugjam santa pod parking for bikes?
 

Can anyone out there tell me about the parking arrangements at Santapod for bikes?

Going to the Big bang VW fest next weekend as part of a stag weekend and camping Friday - Sunday... might have to go by bike after a round trip to the big smoke. Never been and cant see any specifics on the web but do they have specific parking? Secure? Parking the bike outside my tent or in a carpark?

Likely to get yoinked into the back of a van and never seen again?

Also anyone going to be there from here?

all parking for non show vehicles is on grass/the camping area, unless santa pod are happy for you to leave your bike near the entrance, but that can be a fair distance from the camping area.

if it rains, (which it normally does) then the camping area becomes a big muddy mess and not a pleasant place for bikes,id be inclined to try and park the bike near to where the fairground normally sits on tarmac, but this will be miles away from your tent. if you can, then take a car.

and nope not going as having a year or two away from the dub scene as its dominated most of the last 10 years for me...... although i do still own a golf :)

cheers both - big muddy mess you say... i guess it'll match most the people there after a weekend on the booze! Will give them a call to see what can be done - failing that i'll be digging out whatever security i can get my hands on... ta
