Bennetts won't cover non-stock tyres?
 

I just called Bennetts to see how much extra it would be to up my mileage limit and some other changes I'm considering and the woman told me that they wouldn't be able to cover my bike for anything except the type of tyres that come with the bike.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me as there must be thousands of people out there with different tyres on their bikes?

Is anybody else with Bennetts, or had the same things said to them?

communication problem between you - must think you meant different sizes rather than brand

Simple solution, use another insco. Bennetts are one of the worst out there anyway. Cheap they may be, but there's a reason for that.

but have you checked the modifications list on insurers websites, tank pads and the likes, WTF!!!!!
