paint stripper for plasatic panels?
Hi All
Got a couple of very second hand, badly painted side panels for the VT500ED. Does anyone know of a paint stripper that works without adversely affecting the plastic. Cheers Mal |
Re: paint stipper

Re: paint stipper
brake fluid did a treat of a job on a 1" section of my sv1000 fairing panel but didn't take any plastic with it, just the paint :(

Re: paint stipper
Wet and dry paper, possibly a power sander.

staight on top of the old paint and decals. |

Re: paint stipper
Brake fluid works a treat (thanks Paul). Jusy paint it on, leave it for an hour, then take it off with hot soapy water and a bit of wire wool.
