Bike bought, now need delivery
Hi all, I decided to just go for it and buy an SV as an incentive to pass my test quickly.
I got a brilliant deal, managed to win an ebay auction picking up a 2000 model in red for £1060. I now need to organise getting the bike couriered from Northumberland to Aberdeen. Does anyone have any recommendations of good courier companies and what should i expect to pay. Thanks R Ebay pic: http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...rien/SV650.jpg |
Re: Bike bought, now need delivery
I use shiply, just put in the post codes and a few will compete for the business. I just did a delivery from central Scotland to London for £112. I could pm you his number if you want it.

Check out http://www.shiply.com
You place an advert saying what you need shipped, from where and where to. Company's then bid in a negative style auction to ship it for you for the best price. It means there wagons don't travel empty which is good for the environment etc. |
Re: Bike bought, now need delivery
Thanks Bris, looks promising I just had a quote for £180 from www.motorcycledeliveryuk.co.uk which was ok. Have stuck my details into shiply so hopefully will get a few bites.
