left indicator problem
 

Hi All
hope you can point me in the right direction.
i have an intermitant problem with the letf indicator.
i move the indicator switch bofore i turn and sometimes nothing happens, no light flashing on dash and no indicators flashing.

at first i thought it was me because i'm new to biking, so maybe i didn't flick the switch right:rolleyes:

but i did the same the other day and noticed nothing happened, but as i rounded the corner i caught a bump in the road and the indicator started to flash:mad:
this has never been a problem with the right indicator, so i was wondering if there is a seperate relay for each, and if so were are they.

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere, both left and right indicators share the same relay. I would suggest somewhere up near the switch on the handlebars is where the fault lies

thanks a lot.
i wasn't sure about the relay thing.
i'll take the switch apart this weekend and have a butcher, see what i find.
