Mesh grille inserts

I've bought some car grille mesh (2mm holes) which is quite flexible, got a hot glue gun and that's about it.

Any top tips..?

Cheers - I'll remember not to hold the gun in my teeth when I'm not using it.

the glue may look tasty but remember not to eat it too!!

but on a legit note,
is just glue gun glue going to stand up to normal road riding/wear and tear,

id have thought some kind of outdoor sealanty type crap would be better?

I don't really know. Just seen on a few threads that this has worked before so bought a gun.

Prepared everything (Mrs A loved me using the kitchen table!!) and got to work. I found that the glue, once dry, would just fall off. I don't really want to score the fairing to help it stick though, and maybe the glue was the wrong type. Suffice to say, I don't think I have the patients to try again. I think I'll live without it; the same as the rim tape I put on and then peeled straight off again! So after three hours of work, I achieved naff all this morning.

I would try something like silkaflex or tigerseal that should hold it on nicely

I just removed all the mesh from the pannels on my Blade - not to my teste, but it had been held on with bog standard glue gun stuff, and was a pain to get off- so it seems to do the job!

Where are you stikin this grill mesh?
If its for the main radiator grill then you should be able to unscrew the radiator endplates, wrap it around both ends and clamp it in place rather than using glue with the risk of it falling off and dealing death to your back tyre.
