Caberg Justissimo gt

one of these:

nice lid with nice features apart from 1 thing. the wind noise is unbearable :( so if your thinking of one then i would look elsewhere for something else. the wind noise is that bad i could hardly hear my exhaust and i have a Beowulf Warrior with baffle out.

I'm rocking one of these at the moment and find it too is a little louder than I'd prefer.

Previously had the Caberg Justissimo mirage (older style) which had a different front mouth air intake (no round holes).
I found that to be very insular and got much less noise than the style I have at the moment although did fog up more.

The only pic i could find where it's clear is this:

The newer one (GT???) is below:

Maybe they have sacrificed less fog for more noise?
Even still, both felt very sturdy and not as heavy as other flips I tried on (that were in my price range).

had all the vents closed and it still howled like a banshee.

so i'm back to the trusty Bell.

shame to as i loved the drop down visor.

Is the Bell a flip front as well?

Ha,
I thought this may be a "should i get one" thread and I came rushing in to scream "not if you'd like to retain the abilty to hear"
Bought a couple of years back, rode home - rode back to the shop traded it straight back in for something else. (Then bought an arai from teh bike show later that year). At 60+ the caberg was loud, anything over legal speeds and the noise alone was enough to slow me down. I've recently bought a £50 cheapo lid and thats 10fold queiter than the Caberg.

I might be already deaf then because although I admit it is not quiet I really can't say "the wind noise is that bad i could hardly hear my exhaust" I can hear mine fine at speed and I have standard cans and downpipes on the BlackBird.

Just my tuppny worth. Can't lie to you, I would love to get a Schuberth though but WAAAAAY too much money for me

I have an old style justissmo (like above) & haven't found it too bad except for the feeling of rain on your face even whe the visor's full down. Would wear earplugs to travel distance though.

Anyway yesterday I dropped it on the driveway with an almighty clatter. In a panic I went on t'internet last night ot buy an emergency replacement. Bought a Caberg V2 407 (non flip) from ghostbikes for £49.99. It's silver though so guess my black rider days are over.

Now read a few forums & opinion seems split on whether a dropped helmet needs replaced.
