Peace off yourself you may not like my idea's but as i dont realy care it does't realy matter you dont speak for everyone.

Does a man not provide and help those that need it?

I work, contribute my share in taxes so that those in this society that require help can get it.

The system is not perfect, far from it, with lots of it corrupted to serve those that make the rules, I cant argue with that.

However its the best we have and apart from details on how to Freeload by avoiding paying fines, taxes, or even money owed as debt, I have yet to see any kind of Manifesto of how a replacement system would work.

I agree that the focus on speeding as the cause of all RTA's is a mistake by "the system", but that doesn't excuse you from riding a motorbike with known faulty instrumentation then trying to use that as an excuse, do you REALLY think that the conversion factor is almost 2:1 (36mph=58kph).

Man up and take responsibility.

If you think that your argument holds water take it to court and see where you end up when you tell what happened, the reasoning behind why you think that its unfair for you to be harassed in this way.

As for agressive - if you were to speak to the many people who know me on here that I have met, I think you will find that its not really a word that most people would use to describe me.

I just dont like people who game the system, be they MP's with expenses, benefit cheats, or people who think they are above the rules that are required to provide a mostly fair environment for us all.

Re: Freeman or Freeloaders, lets decide.

TBH I don't have a problem with someone questioning authority/rules but the off the wall tone, and I don't like pointing fingers at individuals, of the Freeman made me think there had been a bumper crop of shrooms on Merseyside this year.

The freedoms we all have in a structured(framed) society come, as you quite rightly say, with responsibilities. Abdicating from those responsibilities under the thin guise of Freeman is nothing short of theft from the vast majority who contribute to the wellbeing and wellfare of that society. And lets face it, do so knowingly and without being brainwashed.

To any Freeman I would ask are you in the majority? And if you are a majority then go ahead and change the laws. If you're not in the majority you have no right to ignore the laws of the land, and if you don't like this land, #%3$ off to somewhere where you can set up your own little society of Freemen.

we as a society have taken millennia to get where we are. i may not like a lot of what's going on and a lot of the laws but i like everyone else have to abide by them.

I wish I'd written that because it sums up my feelings on these freeloaders and radicals who think they can escape the responsibilities of life.

What? No incisive structured response or argument to put forwards.

Maybe its because you don't have one?

No?

If as a freeman you don't want to be prosecuted for speeding, how do you balance the yin of having a licence (an obvious government tool of oppression) against the yang of wanting to keep it clean and keep your insurance low? You do have insurance don't you?

Pete ;)

That was a mighty sensible post there to support your view point.

I noticed earlier you said you agreed with some of the RTA....well unfortunately you can't pick and choose. Either you just want common law or you want all laws. Not common law and some of "the good ones".

I also object to the idea that just because the majority chose to abide by the rules and laws of our society that we haven't made a choice to do so. I am aware that I have a choice to follow the rules or not to, I chose to follow them.

Believe it or not, not every one who agrees with the rules of our land are sheep following the other sheep - just because you want to challenge them doesn't mean the people who are happy with it are less intelligent or enlightened than you - get over yourselves!!!

I am aware of my choices, and although it may be a Utilitarian viewpoint, I believe that they are a small sacrifice of our "freedoms" for the greater good.

Hmmm maybe I should have added the poll I was considering.

Can a modly-type person please create a 2 option poll, options being Freeman and Freeloader, oh and please set it up for single vote, with names shown.

Ta muchly
