Rear shock and swingarm
5 Attachment(s)
Hi,
The rear shock on my '00 SV650S recently gave up and leaked its oil all over my garage floor. A new one was going to be pricey so I headed to eBay and found an second hand one so bought it. When it turned up it was attached to a swingarm (which hadn't even been mentioned in the description!), but it despite saying it had come off a '99-'02 SV650, both the shock and swingarm were very different from mine. In the end I got a full refund and got another second hand shock off eBay which was right so now my bike is sorted. Now I have this other rear shock and swingarm sitting in my garage that I want to get rid of, but it seems daft to just bin it. My local mechanic couldn't tell me what bike it had come off, and nor could the bloke who sold it to me. Can anyone here shed any light on this for me? Pics attached. The shock with the yellow spring in the last pic is my old leaky one for comparison. Cheers, Ian |

Yamaha Fazer, an earlier one - so very roughly '03/'04.

Re: Rear shock and swingarm
You can have my standard '01 rear shock for £25 inc p&p, done 16k miles, good condition, no problems (yellow spring).
