Travelling to Magaluf...

So, as a post A-level celebration thing me and about 40 mates are going to Magaluf in spain for a week of drinking and celebration. Now this is all well and good but we've had some proper horror stories told to us, like people having things nicked out of their rooms/bags, having drugs planted in their rooms and then blackmailed, losing passports etc etc...

So basically...has anyone got any experience and any tips for this kind of thing, and how to stay as safe as possible? Don't really want to be stranded in a country where I don't really speak the lingo and most people are out to fleece me for as much as possible...

Use the room safes or Hotel safes, don't get left out late/ early on your own, never annoy the local yoofs unless you are with the other 39, if you go to the lav take your drink with you, never sign anything you don't understand, programme the UK embassy into your mobile, wear a rubber if you get lucky, and don't worry it's only Spain not Marakesh!

Don't take the school n*bhead with you who'll drink 5 pints after been in sun all day and go round calling every copper/large group of lads names.

Just chill, it'll be reet. How many times have you actually spoken to someone that any of that has happened too? Not many I'll bet! Don't be a knob, don't let your mates be knobs, and take all of the above advice and you will be grand!

Stay away from the local ladies of the night, do not end up on youre own, use the safes, keep an eye on youre drinks, stay away from pills, try and be sensible! (LOL)

Just try not to get spiked, get youre money nicked, get lifted or **** off the locals!!

More importantly, enjoy :drunken:

I went Benidorm a few years ago with 21 others for 2 weeks. It was a riot :D Saw a couple of bad things that happened to another group of lads but they were acting like complete knobs. Take advice above and you'll be fine :rave:

What hotel are you staying at?

It is fine aslong as your careful which I know after a few drinks is a little harder but just be sensible don't leave all your cash on the side for the cleaner to see or shiny electronic stuff (ipods and phones etc)

And watch out for the Prostitutes!

My daughter is doing the same thing after her A- levels. I'd ask you to keep an eye on her for me...... but I don't think I will actually ;)
