Guys had a talk wi a guy today... he`s on a years Ban... what for ye ask,,, a couldnt believe it maself... he had his little un on a quad on disused ground, his kid is 6 years old... he got a ban fur a year cause o this... so watch out

Nelson... am only statin what the guy told me.. he had his wee one off road, an the cops came . done him fur being incharge o the wee one, charged him, an he was banned. so am only mentioning it to BEWARE. ye know an hear o all sorts regarding off roading, dont know anymore than that, but if ye feel the need tae go off road. its entirley up to the individual.....a have been many times, myself, an wi ma kids.

I would imagine it's because "disused ground" is not private land.

A years ban for his kid riding a quad, thats a bit extreme. Must be more to it?

i was over the park with my lad the other day and the cops were over there too on off road bikes, looks like they hunting down the off roaders.

no ones havin a go at you mate:)-as an offroad m/c cop i can asure you them that get banned for being on offroad bikes only get done by being on the public highway/thoroughfares.Its normally a warning, then if they fail to heed that the bike gets lifted and crushed-heads up is if someones had a warning and they then jump on your bike and they are causing annoyance(read anti social conduct)your bike gets crushed.
