Sally Ride this Friday in Soho?
 

No, this is not a shuttle service offered by our own dear Messie...

...but a celebration of Sally Ride being the first American woman in space on the Challenger Space Shuttle, which returned safely to earth on this day in 1983.

So who will raise a mug of tea this Friday in honour of women drivers finally being allowed into outer space where there were no lamp posts to reverse into?

I'm on earlies this weekend...although not very early on Saturday as I'm meant to be starting at 9am, but that could move to 7am.

If I have a 7am start Saturday, I'll give Soho a miss, but if my start time stays as 9am, I may pop by on my way home on Friday eve.
