47bhp restriction - Curvy?
 

The restrictor washers for the curvy for 33bhp are 44.23mm diameter with a 18.41mm hole. Can any genius work out what the aperture would be to make 47bhp for the forthcoming change in legislation.

I think it would be a case of trial and error, a couple of dyno runs should get it.

Alternatively a throttle stop would work, you could then do it very quickly on a dynapro dyno.

Thanks chris - any ideas of a guess as to the aperture size - I was thinking somewhere around the 24mm mark.....

Not heard about a change of legislation (uk, right?) do you have a link to some info?

sometime in 2013 the restriction will become 47bhp - as in in Spain now - cannot give you any more info, but someone will very soon, I'm sure.

Is this going to affect existing license holders? My restriction is up in 2013...specifically 27th Feb 2013...here's to hoping all this poop is either forgotten about or not introduced until after that...sod doing another test - I had to do three to get my current license!

Indeed, I passed my car license with only 5. Including the test!
