I could have had VIP tickets for Thursday but had to get my ID pass renewed at work so missed out. Gutted.

I wasn't but I got stuck in all the traffic coming out of it, it swamped the surrounding area. What was it like, any good?

It was pretty good actually. I haven't been for about 12 years so it's grown a bit since then! Wifey and I took the kids up on the bikes so we didn't get too held up in the traffic. The rally stage was excellent, got some good photos of the cars that used to be plastered on my walls as a kid (Escort MK2, Talbot Sunbeam Lotus, Quattro Sport, Lancia Stratos, that sort of thing) going full blast. Quite a few bikes up there - Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda and Ducati all had stands. Some tractor manufacturer called Harley Davidson were there too, but I didn't have my cowboy hat with me so I steered clear.
