Value my bike.

I think I'm going to sell my trusty old beast, really haven't got a clue how much its worth though??

Its a 2003 pointy in copper with 57000 miles on the clock.
Is in fairly tatty condition as it is ridden every day all year round I have done nearly 30000 miles in just over 3 years on it and not once has it caused me any trouble. I have replaced a lot of parts and serviced it every 5000 miles. Its just had a new bottom linkage and lower swing arm bearings, as the needle rollers were all shot due to salt. It has goodridge braided hoses front and rear, hagon progressive front springs, rear hugger, r & g crash bungs, paddock stand bobins and has heated grips although 1 is not working. It starts every time and is a very reliable commuter bike but has been dropped and knocked a few times, the rear panels have been sprayed by hand badly. Would make a fantastic tarting up project, track bike or commuter for someone who doesn't mind the weathered look!!!

What do you think it would fetch??

I was thinking of bunging it on an ebay auction starting at £800 with no reserve.

I'd give you £800 for it depending on how tatty "tatty" is ;-)

I got £1000 for my good condition SV650S K3 with 33,000 miles on it, but that was from a dealer, so you could probably expect close to that with that sort of mileage if selling private I suppose.
