ohlins rear shock
ok then whats wrong with them and why dont people like them (on the sv) ?
looking at moding it to make them better and use my bike as a test bed then we can make the adjustments to the speck |
Re: ohlins rear shock
Nothing wrong with them, but lot of money to spend on a budget bike if your just using it on the road. Prob be better trying to fit summin off summin else and get it set up properly

I have one on mine. I've never complained.

Re: ohlins rear shock
with the amount iv already spent i might as well get one, and i work for ohlins now so get it at cost - a bit as i can build it from kit rather than pre assembled , but have heard things like they are to short even with height adjustment but as i can get/make the parts to make it right i though id see what people thought needed doing to them

Re: ohlins rear shock
You work for Ohlins? So I think mine might need a service...

pointy
so far iv heard rumors of whats wrong with them but nothing from any one that i know is reputable |
Re: ohlins rear shock
If its too short can't you make a longer adjuster, I know of people who have done this to jack up the rear of SRADs
|
Re: ohlins rear shock
yup ohlins make a huge selection of different length clevises the down side is you lose the ability to go lower than standard
