Binned it, what to do with my SV650s?
Forgive me if this is in the wrong place etc
Basically my beloved curvy had had an unexpected meeting with the corner of a van, everything mechanically and structurally seems fine. (to be officially checked), but the front bikini fairing and lights and totally destroyed. So what to do from here? I could replace them which isnt too cheap or replace them with an aftermarket fairing such as (http://www.twinshack.co.uk/prods/447.html) Would cost slightly more but looks rather nice. My issue is painting it, is it feasible to paint my bike with cans/or spray gun and have it look half decent. As to have it done professionally would literally bankrupt me. I have some spraying experience with shipping containers etc, has anyone got any experience they would like to share? Many thanks, SID (Ill get some pics if you want tomorrow when its light?) |

Re: Binned it, what to do with my SV650s?
Im in Great Yarmouth. Well real close.
I though spray cans would look s***. What about a cheap compressor and gun? I have access to a a large air compressor, but im not sure if they are suitable to use with a spray gun? What kinda price would I be looking at the get it done in a shop? We have S.I.D bodyshop and painter, problem is the were voted top in the country which im going to guess means costly... :L SiD |
