Replacing Fork Lowers

I have a set of RWU forks, not actually SV forks but exactly the same design, nothing fancy standard forks so the principle would be the same for the SV. I want to swap the lowers. I have a replacement lower, and I intend to use the existing internals and stanchion.

Obviously I will be replacing the seals, oil, and damper bolt sealing washer and I also have a new seal retaining clip should the existing one be rust. But is there anything else that I need to do? The bush is the only thing I can think of but then I think thats linked to the stanchion, so I thought I'd ask just to be sure...

Would simply swapping the lower over be a problem or not?
