Bottle of wine anybody

Clearing out a house and come across a 1959 bottle of Gruaud:Larose Cru Medoc, so any offers-----currently selling at £338 per bottle

I don't think will be drinking it but I might stick it in a wine auction:D

Spot on Bibio. Sod your dicky ticker, Dicky Ticker - drink it and bl00dy well enjoy it! Unless Ed's right and it's vinegar. In which case, pour it away and still claim it was great just to p1ss us all off.

Do what I did the last time I had an expensive bottle in the house (though not that expensive).

Stagger home blootered. Think "I'm havin that feckin wine". Open it, take the neck out the bottle and fall asleep on the couch. In the morning, collect the upended bottle from the floor. Realise you can't remember what the wine tasted like. Consider sooking it out of the rug. Put the wine soaked rug in the bin.

Class - you've either got it or ye huvnae.

I have to say that my decision to take THAT bottle of Single Malt (40yo Strath Isla) to the AR in essex and share it around was the best decision on what to do with the bottle I could have made.

The true value in these things is their enjoyment, not pounds while sitting on a shelf.
