pointy sv randomly cuts out and high temps
 

hi guys and girls

fitted a cheap alarm system to the sv as my flat mates bike got nicked ever since then she will just cut like I've flicked the kill switch when in first gear slow speeds and if i recall correctly when the clutch is in, this is very random and does not happen all the time, when going to turn her back on unless i wind open the throttle she will not start. not sure if its related but my cooling system docent see to be working as when on idle and parked the bike temp just goes up and up i turned off at 107 C as the fan hadn't kicked in. just checked over the bike and despite its full major service in the winter the cooling liquid level is well below the low line.

any ideas?
