Starter button/smashed switchgear?
 

Oh my curvy SV....

After having battery leakages, neutral light breaking etc etc I thought I had sorted out all my problems. Then I went to use the bike and it wouldn't start. Still had lights and power to everything just had nothing from the starter button. Not even a relay click!

After a lot of testing with the use of a continuity test I have discovered the physical starter button itself is failing to make a connection between its two contacts. It seems rusty like that might be the cause.

Id rather not splash out for a whole new switch gear. Seems a bit much for a single button. Anyone got a r/h switch gear for an sv that has a cracked/smashed casing etc thatll make em let go of it for cheap?

Ill post a picture of exactly what i mean after i desolder it in a little bit. Im going to try to de rust it tonight and then see if it works better afterwards. But i would be very grateful for anything you guys may have.
