Starting a new YouTube cooking show...

Hey everybody,
Me and my buddy are going to start a new Youtube cooking show entitled "The Bachelor Survival Guide" consisting of cooking on an EXTREMELY low budget. I was wondering if anyone thinks this is actually a good idea and would actually watch it...It's more of a comedy thing, but you could actually cook, and eat the food if you wanted (its not gross crap). We have several recipies already made up, just looking for a good camera to film it all with. Anowho, just wondering if there would be any support from the community here, if you have any ideas for recipies, and if you could spread the word around a little. I will post a link when I have everything up and running.
Thanks everybody!

I love the idea, I already subscribe to the Underground cookery school and love it when they send me new videos, would love to see your take on Bachelor cooking ^_^.

My personal favourite was simple packet noodles (cheap stuff from Chinese supermarket) and chuck an Egg in it as it's cooking to poach and get a bit more ommf to it ;), cheap, tasty and filling.

If i'm being REALLY cheap for work lunch Tescos do a 12p loaf of bread and a 9p can of beans so thats beans on (microwaved bread...no toasters at work..) for 11p a day (Loaf lasts all week)

I personally believe that the thing that'll either make or break it will be the comedy. With a really good sense of humour and fun, with the cooking perhaps coming second, I believe people will watch and you could gather a following. I'd certainly watch and keep up to date if it was amsuing :D

i am wracking my brains right now but i am convinced there used to be a tv show in the 80's or 90's that was along similar lines. like a student cookery guide, cheap food etc...maybe not so much comedy tho. anyways, good luck!!

I think I know what you mean. I remember seeing one where they did something with a potnoodle?

If all else fails with the comedy you could always change your name to Krapper or something
