Channel 5 Drops A Boll...
Since the last run of Big Brother was such a flop on channel 4, channel 5 have now taken the lead this year with the show. But they have already made a massive fail with their advertising of the show.
http://totalbigbrother.com/news/bb-b...-channel-5.tbb All the billboards have the wrong day and date on them, it should be Thursday the 18th. The only saviour is there will be a preview show on Wednesday. "At present it is unknown how many billboard adverts will be displayed and in what locations." I've been changing the billboards since Sunday with this Big Brother poster and finished my final one this afternoon. I'd say there is up to 13 boards that I have done from Greenford in London all the way around to Walthamstow. That's not including the wallpaper type boards. The only saving factor is a lot of the guys from the company I work for couldn't get out because it was unsafe due to riots so there is still many boards to be changed. Doh! Mind you this fail is relatively minor compared to this from a while back. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...placement.html  |
Re: Channel 5 Drops A Boll...
You can just go round pasting 18 over the mistake, or get some Tippex :p

I will pay you to go and paste ANYTHING over those big brother ads as big brother is the worst thing to ever be broadcast! If I drive past one of these billboards it will offend my eyes.

Re: Channel 5 Drops A Boll...
I watched with interest the 1st ever series of BB as it was an interesting social exercise. However after about 4 days of watching poeple chop carrots, and generally lay about, i got bored and have never watched it since. I do follow who is in there though every now and again just to see what freaks they have managed to rummgae up. Now that 5 have it, and it was the LAST EVER on 4, i really dont give a crap.
Put them in there and nuke it is what i say |

After that first series it seemed to go downhill for me. Choosing more and more outrageous characters until it became like a lot of other "reality" TV shows where they line up the mentally ill for us all to laugh at. Not for me. On the cocked up posters, I always wonder how "accidental" these things are or if it's actually marketing genius. I now know the start date of the programme, whereas I didn't before. Still won't be watching. |
Re: Channel 5 Drops A Boll...
Perhaps convince them there really has been a zombie apocalypse/epidemic/societal breakdown outside. Have an actor dressed as a production assistant stagger in to open the door for them before 'dying' of his injuries.

Re: Channel 5 Drops A Boll...
The only one of that kinda genre I watched was when they sent a bunch of lads to the moon. I quite enjoyed that one.
Edit: it wasnt the moon, just outer space. It was called space cadets. And it was girls as well. Funny how memory gets it wrong. |
Re: Channel 5 Drops A Boll...
is this one not meant to be a Celebrity show?
what annoys me about this programme and all the other "celebrity" shows is that not many of the folk on it are actual celebs. They are either wives or husbands of, or they are old has beens that are no longer in the public eye and trying to revamp their failing career. they get paid far too much money to appear on this show as well. |
