Parts got stolen!!

Hi all

Last night my front left foot rest, heel plates, Gear shifter and my resevoir fluid pot on the handlebars got stolen from off my bike last night.

Im going to assume someone has crashed there sv to take such parts like this.

Pretty f-ing annoying though.

How much will these items cost to replace in total ? its for a K9 model.
And where best to buy them? looking on ebay is maily second hand stuff. dont want older parts for a year old bike.

Seriously though, either bite the bullet and buy off ebay (some K5/6 parts look newer than my K 8 originals!), or get fleeced by a dealer or take the opportunity to get new pattern stuff such as adjustable rearsets, funky reservoir etc.

sorry to hear about the theft. you can get an idea of the cost from the dealers here http://www.ajsutton.co.uk/. just enter bike details and the appropriate parts will be listed.

Thanks dave, really nice offer but unfortunately im to late and got some GB Moto rearsets for £120 second hand. The brake resevoir cost about £50.

Hope something happens to them.

i have a suspition some people down my road took the parts!

A guy used to own a Sv650 like mine and sold it and got a triumph.
But my dad went round to give em a heads up that someone has stolen parts ect ect and to keep an eye out for thier own bikes.

The bloke said to my dad "oh yeah the blue sv650 i heard about that" my dad said how do you know? he said his flat mate told him (flat mate is also a rider of a gsxr650 or 600). We havnt told anyone about what bike the parts were taken from as my dad owns a Red sv1000. The man also said i need to cover my bike up more often which is the blue sv650. How does he know what bike had the parts taken from it? and how does he know we had anything taken at all.

Very odd.

i reakon he sold his sv650 to a mate who dropped it or slid it and he knew where to get him the bits from :/

Even if i tell the police this what can they do! fook all!!!
