On this day in 1997, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers was admitted to hospital after crashing on his motorbike while driving down Sunset Boulevard.

We'll have no such activity in Frith Street this week as eyes will be kept on the road and not on the girls in short skirts.

Not me, am working...hellish weekend nights - it's the last weekend of the month (so most people will have been paid), and it's the Notting Hill carnival (so lots of folks drinking all day, and it's a bank holiday (so 3 days of drinking instead of two).

I'm looking forward to Wednesday morning when my shifts are over ;)
