Anyone about for a ride/meet on sunday ?
 

As above really, wife moves out on saturday :(, and i have the day of work on sunday and monday :) so was wondering if any one wanted to meet up for a ride or at red lodge etc for food!
Region does not really matter as i could do with a ride out.
Weather forecast is 22 and sunny so a chance to get out before the weather turns!

Oh bugger, cant this weekend, got the kids. If it was next Sunday I could have made it...

Hope Saturday isnt too traumatic for you, these things are never easy :-(

Cheers KJ, It will probably be too short notice for people so i am not expecting too much of a response.
Sat will be ok as i will be at work but it will be strange coming home to an empty house for the first time in 18 years!. I was bad a couple of weeks ago but we are still friends which makes it easier and i think i am just trying to plan my future now. That may include chaanging the bike for something cheaper though.

Yeah, I can make this sunday....I'm easy for where to meet, ride etc, just decide on something and I'll be there. Red Lodge is okay if peeps are coming from all over but if it just us coming from Norwich, Lowestoft etc then Beccles McD's sounds like a plan! Maybe start at Beccles, head to Southwold (or around there) for fish & chips and then do some of the back roads out that way before heading home?

The only think I ask is just make sure it's not too early, a 10-11am start would be good depending on how far away from Norwich it will be :)

Why dont you see where your local MAG ride will be heading out from. You can join the masses and be counted.

On the 25th September you can make your voice heard. Starting from service areas across the country, we all ride at 1pm, 45mph, using the inside lanes and disperse 20 minutes later. Negotiations are ongoing and as citizens we must be considered. This is the first time. Let's show what we could be capable of.


Points of interest is are:

• A47 - Long Water Retail Park, Norwich
• A47 - Freebridge Cafe, King's Lynn PE34 3LP
• A11 - A11/A1065 Barton Mills, Mildenhall

Maybe aim to get to Norwich or even Mildenhall for 12:30pm after meeting in Beccles and hitting the east coast first?

I am now really ****** off.
It looks like i Will have to work right across the weekend now, that makes it 15 days in a row at work!
So in the best EAR tradition the person who started the thread has to pull out.
However if i can swing someone to cover for me i would be up for meeting at beccles and then going from there as suggested.
I will update tomorrow as i have just got in from work after starting before 3 AM again.
