Honda VTR help - anyone owned one?
Writing this on behalf of a friend, who recently had a coming together with a car.
He only sustained a broken thumb, but there was a bit of damage to the bike. What he really needs at the mo is a substitute front brake disc, as brand new VTR specific ones are too costly for his limited budget. He recently bought a CBR600F front disc on advice, but it doesnt fit... Anyone able to help? |

Has anyone else used blackshadow? Sorry Dyzio, my mate found the majority of reviews being negative.

Bibio has them, and I'll be buying some soon.
Pretty sure Bibio rated them as being perfectly ok |
Re: Honda VTR help - anyone owned one?
Combatfred has them on the Busa, and I've fitted them to the Falco this year. Still fine after 8k or so.

Firestorm brake discs are same part number as 89-92 VFR400 NC30, same as 93-96 RVF400 NC35, same as 95-98 CBR600 FS/FT/FV/FW, same as 94-97 VFR750 FR/FS/FT/FV, same as 94-97 CBR900RR Fireblade FR/FS/FT/FV. They are handed left and right sides

Re: Honda VTR help - anyone owned one?
blackshadow. 6000+ miles and so far so good. would say cast discs are better but for the money they do the job. this is on an SV with a gsxr front so its only ever a dab on the brakes to scrub speed or lightly for coming to a stop.
