LEDs on a Curvy

Well I finally got round to fitting some lights to the SV

First of all the side light was out (the center light). Now when I took the bulb out the bulb was blown so I thought no bother. I stuck in the LED and no joy and then I tried a meter and no Vssss.

Conclusion was that something was wrong inside... I will have a look at it when i get at the clocks.

I started the long labourious task of stripping the front end. TBH it wasn't that bad took me about 10-15mins to take the fairings off. I could see the sidelight bulb socket was water-damaged.

I replaced all three lights in the dash with some white LED ones. I spent about 5mins scratching my head when I realised that LEDs are polarity devices. A quick 180 turn of one of the bulbs and all three was lighting up.

On the sidelight, I tried to clean it but it was very badly corroded. So I just cut the wires off and put on new wire and connector for it.

Here's the pictures of the results.

So no I've that done what's next?
Rear shock or Fork Springs?

Well done (on posting the same thread 3 times) :p

Mods help please :D

Fork springs & rear shock, both at the same time if you can afford it. But forks first if money is tight

Fork springs and oil next then, makes a big difference.

Clock LEDs look sweet. Ordered some for my Curvy last night, just some generic wide angle bright white LEDs, hoping they come out as well as yours!
