DIY Mods
Sure does save a lot of money, and one of my favourite easy DIY for a bike is the number plate hanger...

Re: DIY Mods
Nice neat job, what did you do about the number plate light?
|
Re: DIY Mods
Didn't bother, the brake light is bright enough and I've never been pulled up about it.

Re: DIY Mods
how did you put pointy tail lights on a curvy? is it a straight swap?
|
Re: DIY Mods
not that easy and I wouldnt bother again to be honest, had to make up light mount brackets, undertray and tail tidy.
It needs infills either side of the tail light, and they need to be filled in as when it rains lots of spray ends up under the seat, especially as I no longer have the snow plough. Im hoping to fit a complete pointy seat unit and subframe in the near future as I think it would look neater. It was simply a what if idea that I got carried away with. Cost me about £25 all in I think. |
Re: DIY Mods
I wanted to fit some neat aftermarket indicators to my naked pointy but the hole left by the oem ones is a large oval shape. OK, I could have bought some indicator spacers but they look too much like an afterthought for me so.........
Decided to scrounge some carbon sheet from a friend who works with fast cars..:-) (cheers Andy) and made these babies ....... http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e9...0/IMAG0448.jpg |
