Gritters out
 

Couldn't believe my eyes last night. Working in St Andrews and there was a gritter out!! Temp according to the car was 6.5 degrees. I even had to scrape the windscreen on my car when i finished at 2 in the morning. Looks like winter is well and truly on its way.

Yup as noticed in my other thread. Looks like the bike winter storage prep is looming. Road tax runs out end of this month.

They were out around the borders/moffat area last night, bike was bloody covered in salt by the time we got back.

Wash and acf50'd and won't be out again till after the winter.:(

had to scrape the car this morning, its -1 here just now, still had a great sun soaked afternoon on the bike though.

Scraped the car this morning going to work. Outside temp reading in the car was 1.5 degrees. brrrrr

roll on Tenerife in 2 weeks time :-)

Well I can understand the gritters being out up there, but at 7pm last night they were doing it on the roundabout in our town centre. MADNESS!

I was glad the gritters had been out last night, meant the ride in this morning wasn't as bad as it might have been :cool:

Had to thump the bike seat of break the layer of frost/ice...

Bleeding cold Monday morning! Tractor with snow plough and gritters has been out every morning since the tail end of last week.

Can't wait for another winter of 2 wheel drifting on the bike through snow ;)

Neighbour has a digital weather station on the house and told me it recorded -3 on Sunday night, but my house is at 800 ft.
