Sv650 wanted

Hey everyone,

After months of research into what bike to buy and months of searching about sv650's and there price ranged etc

I am now on the look or a sv650. (To buy)

I would like the bike to be with in a 30ish mile radius from Audenshaw (M34 5hz)

I am looking for a:
  • k3 plate upwards.
  • The total miles of the bike really does not bother me (Low or high) though don't really want anything above 50k miles lol :smt104
  • The aesthetic of the bike (Looks). Again I am not too bothered about. I don't mind a dint in the exhaust or/and a scratch on the fairing etc
  • I would prefer that the bike is mechanical sound. Though the odd issue that can be fixed again not too bothered about.

I am currently a student... So my budget is not massive being the fact I have to buy my gear, insurance, test and equipment etc

So really i would say my budget is around the 1000-1300 pound mark. May be a bit on flex on that. If i fall in love with your bike :smt008 lol

I am totally willing to do a quick buy and take the bike off your hands asap cash on delivery. Urr Ye Totally happy doing a quick buy etc (I think in my budget i am looking for a quick sale)

I am looking for a pointy and NOT looking for a street fighter!.

Though if an amazing curvy bike comes along then i will defo thing about that!!!
Though i am 100% sure i am NOT looking for a street fighter! (pointy or curvy).

Cheers everyone

Sam

p.s

Will buy from dealer or private seller!
Cash sat here waiting :p

HI,

I've just bought a Yam FZ1. I was going to wait until spring until I sold my naked curvy, after tarting it up a bit. It was first registered in 2003 and has done 27k. I have done 20k of those over the past 5+ years. I currently get about 55MPG. It's never let me down and is mechanically very sound.

At the mo it's got Hagon progressive fork springs, a Givi V46 top box and front fairing fitted, hand guards, brand new heated grips and good frame protector crash bungs that I imported from the US.

The glasses in both tacho and speedo are cracked but don't leak.

I really want to keep the top box to keep as part of the luggage set for the FZ1.

I don't know how much to sell it for to be honest. I'm half minded to keep it and yet I could do with the space and money.

John
