I've been keeping an eye out for one (in passing though, not too seriously) for the past 5 years...good luck!

I'd seen the odd one crop up on ebay - but they've always been miles away or knackered, can't say I've searched ebay for one in the last 3 years though just kept an eye out for one in the flesh.

Is it for your first bike or something...or just curiosity?

Re: Suzuki Goose?

If i find a knackered one i wont bother with it but if its far away im willing to somehow get it to me.
But no it isnt my first bike, my first bike was a ybr125 and currently i have a k3 sv650s (not currently riding because i broke my collar bone playing rugby :/ ) but i would rather a goose tbh at my age it just seems like more sense as do many bikes but none are as awesome as the goose, plus i love corners and apparently the goose is one mean cornering beast.

I wanted one as my first bike but never succeeded but have always fancied seeing/having one..just curiosity really.
Can't say I ever looked into handling, they look like they'd handle like a lightweight bandit - not tooo dissimilar to the sv, have you thought about the sv400?

They are cool though, I think the magic's in the name to be honest.

Re: Suzuki Goose?

Just looked at the sv400, personally dont see the advantage for that over the 650 other than maybe cheaper insurance? but it still would require restriction and it just isnt a goose, i dont know what it is about the goose i just love it

Re: Suzuki Goose?

Ah yeah, forgot about restriction - yeah just less cc's, good power/torque/handling and more available!

Re: Suzuki Goose?

I would rather stick with my 650 until i can find a goose tbh
