Re: What bike next?
Get a street triple r or similar, best thing is to test ride as many as possible, what sort of riding do you do?

Re: What bike next?
you fancy something sportier then, or just different. If you can get a test ride (used or new) then try as many bikes as you can if you are undecided. Get some insurance quotes so you know what you can afford too.

Re: What bike next?
i was in your predicament only being 20 aswell.
but still bought a nice 55 plate zx6r insurance isnt all that bad in the end. although if your thinking a pointy i have on for sale. |
Re: What bike next?

Re: What bike next?
I don't do much riding just commuting to work really which isit far and only use during summer time (which we don't get for long lol) I would like something sportier e,g gsx-r or zx6 r but was just concerned about insurance but if a zx is'nt too bad then i might look into them. Which insurance company did you guys find best?

also if its a commute your doing ei through traffic you can never have more fun than a SM..might be worth a look unless you really want that sportyness |
Re: What bike next?
If you guys don't mind what were the prices of your insurances at 20 with this sort of bike? Obviously include things like NCB so i can have a stab at gauging it!
Im in the same boat as OP! *Edit. Sorry not to hijack your thread! IMO the ZX6R with the underseat exhaust in green is the sexiest bike on the planet! |

was £270 4yr ncb not bad considering ages and where i live. the sv and dr on one policy was £300 but i can ride any other bike with that aswell. |
Re: What bike next?
Street triples get fantastic write ups but are quite naked and sit up if you're after a stereotypical sports bike. Honda CBR600F's have a good reputation but I found insurance quotes a lot more than my SV that I settled for. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R maybe?
