Re: Cat and Fiddle made boring.
Jesus, I nearly fell asleep watching the vid Mike posted. Not far off the beginning he's yelling "careful, this is a nasty one, slow down slow down" and I thought to myself that any rider with half a testicle (and even a fair few women riders) would be gagging to get past the car in front, cog it down and fly through that set of bends.
Why does the bloke ride.. it can't really be fun when that's all there is to your riding. |

Couldn't you think of a better youtube username than 'advancedbiker' Lozzo?

Re: Cat and Fiddle made boring.
His name is Mike I think, I think it's an instructor from Macclesfield, but could be wrong.
If it is him I see him around a lot, does a lot of advertising at bike shows around Stoke and the nearby area. In his featured channels is my instructor's channel who I used (from Stoke), so I think it is him. I love at about 2:02 how he says "slow down this is a particularly nasty one". That's gotta be my favourite part, down into second, lean it and power on the exit! |

Snake pass and long hill are the alternative to cat and fiddle, so much better
Cat and fiddle is just a good meet up place! |
Re: Cat and Fiddle made boring.
Aww gawd, I know he's trying to be helpful but I couldn't get passed 3 minutes of it.
I gave up when he said something like "here's a section of bends, you need to take the first few easy or you'll muck it up the for the next section". He then went round them at a snails pace and then accelerated to the next section at warp factor snail pace. |
