'Le carnage' Normandy weekend, April 26th

See here...http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=171709

Due to a couple dropping out and possibility of a couple more i thought I'd post it in in here too.

I think numbers need to be limited to 15-20 tops so if you are interested, please confirm ASAP.

6 of us have booked ferry already, they are selling quick for some reason, but worse case another route would be ok, just means more riding to meet us.

As usual, no tossas please, myself excluded obviously :)

I would like to join you if I can book the holiday from work.

Could you put the final details on here so that I don't have to go through 19 pages? :)

Specialone is probably out working for a change, so I'm sure he won't mind me helping out... (kidding mate ;-) )

Basically the following screenshot is the ferry dates and times, and at the moment that's the only firm arrangement we have, other than the fact we are going to Normandy, we are going primarily to do the WW2 history and memorials, and we are planning to be camping for three nights in a central location. A campsite has been recommended but is still to be confirmed. Currently we have 5 bikes going with 6 people, and one more bike awaiting confirmation of holidays from work before booking.

These ferries are with LD Lines http://www.ldlines.co.uk. Obviously if you wanted to take a different ferry and meet up with us in France, you could do.

Cheers Col :)

Dates are as Col posted on ferry link...
Thursday 26th April 11pm ferry from portsmouth to Le havre, arrives 7.30am (local) Friday 27th.

Return Monday 31st April at 5pm (local) and arrives 9.30pm at Portsmouth.

More details to come, but as Colin said, plan is to camp centrally and target one area per day, we are going to collate all the must see sights into areas and do them that way to stop us cross crossing all over the place.

It was a deliberate faux pas to see if people were paying attention, well done mate.
