Yep, very cute. Great choice of breed, they are the best family dog you can get IMO. He's got the same ridge down his nose that my last Golden Lab had. Think he's going to be a handsome lad!

Re: Our new addition...

She's 7 weeks old and we've been waiting 10 years almost before taking the plunge. Eldest daughter is 21 and at uni and youngest (of 4) is 13 in April.

We decided a couple of years ago that we'd start planning for a puppy and after being (unavoidably) let down last year, we plumped for the breeder that gave us Ruby.

We're pretty much resigned to the fact that the kitchen is going to have all the furniture chewed etc, but we're OK with that.

She spent her first night with us last night and slept right through from 10-6.30am so it's a good start.

I'm sure we'll have lots of fun together and can't wait to start taking her out when she's older.

At least caging the beast will help with curbing her destructive nature, then by that time she'll have been house trained, so won't be quite so destructive - fingers crossed
