Insurance help.
I'm moving house in a few weeks. Currently my bike is right outside my front door, under my porch, anchored to the house and under a cover. For insurance purposes I have stated it is on a driveway (The nearest option).
When I move I will have the ability to drive it straight off the pathway at the back, into my garden (patio), where it will live (locked, alarmed and covered). The garden is surrounded by a high fence and a locked gate. The bike will not be visible to anyone walking by. What do I tell the insurance? Off road, on driveway, garaged, or is there a 'locked in back garden' status? |

Re: Insurance help..
Or just explain it to them and let them choose. Calls are all recorded so then they can't say you got it wrong or whatever.
I'd say it would count the same as a driveway, surely it being patio not Tarmac is just a technicality |
Re: Insurance help..
off the road, it is on your private property not a publicly accessible area
