Sports bike
<£800, runs well and has some kick, but is for a novice on a trackday, so it doesn't matter what cosmetic condition it is in, because there is a high chance of it getting damaged anyway.
Based in Surrey, and I gotta have a sit before I buy (I'm 6'6") |
Re: Sports bike
Tough challenge. I was looking for a while around the price range. Got an SRAD 600 for £800 and spent £200+ on brakes refurb and other essentials.
This one looks pretty good value for money and had a V5. These steelies have a good reutation for longevity. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CBR-...#ht_522wt_1185 |
Re: Sports bike
Thanks dude, good shout. I like it. Is it physically "big"? I'm very tall and don't want to be cramped when going for the head-down

Re: Sports bike
Dunno mate, but if your 6' 6" every 600 is going to be a bit tight. Try a new one out at George Whites or somewhere to see what you think. You don't spend too much time tucked down on a track anyway.
750 or a 1000 will probably be better then, but more expensive generally. |
Re: Sports bike
Ride a steelie before you buy it, its a love / hate bike.
