Hi Folks, Nice clear crispy sunshiny day forecast for saturday. Thinking about a ride from Blackburn to Ribchester, Slaidburn, Bentham and Devils Bridge returning either Clitheroe way (A65 & A59) or M6. If anyone's interested I could meet at M65 services jct. 4.

Hi Josh, Distance is no more than 140 miles round trip from you. 50 miles to Devils Bridge from where I am in Darwen. This is worked out from google maps and is based on the two main roads suggested as return routes. The lanes route through Forest of Bowland is more direct south to north so a few less miles. Time wise- it will be frosty with a max temp. of 5 so making use of the main part of the day is a good idea like 10am and return 2pm although I`m flexible with times and will even do sunday.

hmmm very tempting, i meant to be changing my brake lines and cleaning the dirty bike on saturday, but could do that after maybe with someone's help with the brakelines :D ^ hint hint ^
so would you be at junction 4 m65 at about 10 ?
