Lightweight batteries - which brand?
Looking to lighten the R1 for 'Ring usage. So firstly I'm looking at batteries.
Well on ebay there's this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1905840258...ht_2172wt_1037 862g, £159.95 Cheaper and lighter than this: http://www.racingbatteries.co.uk/ind...id=9:batteries 1050g £240-250 So is the first one dodgy, or is it just because of the non-exciting make/brand? -I've heard of racing batteries, and would be happy buying one of theirs, but lighter and cheaper always catches the eye... |
Re: Lightweight batteries - which brand?
Lithium Ion sounds interesting. I thought such batteries needed control circuitry to get the longevity out of them, but looking at the Skyrich website they say its a fit and go solution.

Re: Lightweight batteries - which brand?
Also seen a brand called Shorai, marginally heavier than skyrich but slightly cheaper...

Re: Lightweight batteries - which brand?
Shorai makes a respectable battery. Stick with the brand name LiFePO4 packs.
