Oi, SoulKiss - Android help needed A2SD

:)

Need a bit of help with my HTC Desire.

I've managed to root the phone (Unrevoked) and install a new rom (MIUI from here), the thing is all apps still seem to install to the phone internal memory :/

I've partitioned the SD card into 2, using gparted:
1) fat32, approx 3.5GB
2) ext3, approx 500MB,

From what I read here, after that it should be pretty straight forward, it seems to me that the phone seed the A2SD space available (see below), but for some reason it doesn't work :/

:D

Anyway looks like I've sorted it now, never occurred to me that it might be worth checking the Miui forum :smt021

Can you do anything about a standard one installing to internal memory or do you need to root it?

I tried this initially: http://androidforums.com/desire-tips...implified.html

It allowed some apps to be moved manually to the SD card but I've run out of space after a while.

Latest versions of Android supporting moving to the SD card after installation of the app - my wifes old HTC Wildfire gained this ability when it was upgraded to 2.2.1

Cheers Dyzio, mine's running like a bag of **** due to low memory and I've scrapped/moved everything I can afford to.
