There are still some decent people about!!

About a week ago I went to my car to find a pile of rear brake light from another car and the rear quarterof my car all dented and paint scraped:mad:

Looked around over the next few day for any cars that had broken rear lights but couldn't see any as no note had been left on my car.

Resigned myself to the fact that some @rse had driven off!

Got a letter through from the police today stating that a third party had collided with my car but as they couldn't locate the owner reported it to the police with my registration and their details!!

To say I'm surprised is an understatement. Just goes to showe that there are some honest decent people about!!

Now off to get some overpriced quotes;)

Can tyou claim for whiplash when you weren't even in the car!!?? (Only joking)

Fair play to them, not that many honest drivers in car parks these days.

Just remember it's karma, if you don't own up some sod will do it you at some point.

its nice to hear about this stuff. most of the time its the other way around about people ranting about something. like the bloke who decided to pull out on the car in front of me. then pull out properly on me.

I was called a few times by companies willing to fight for my compensation after my bike was knocked over in a car park.. me a few meters away from the bike...

You'll probably get the same once the insurance is involved.

Just hope the owner that hit my girlfriends car does this but i very much doubt it. You should now buy a lottery ticket

:0) Good on them...
or it could have been what me and my boss did back in 2005, we saw some cheeky fecker bump into a car in a tescos car park, and drive away, so my boss got the number plate, when into tesco's and asked the services till to get the CCTV and and passed on the Reg to them and left his contact details, then Tesco's rang the police.
a week later and my boss got a call from the police.
a few more days passed and then he got another call saying the person was going to court for leaving the scene of an accident, and he is a witness. :0)

Wish the person who stoved my car door in had the decency to do this.

Still nice one for you
