How to poll?
 

Can someone give me very simple instructions on how to put a poll into a thread? Sorted out food options for GMV and need to do a poll, but never done one, and cant get there by trial and guesswork!:(

Start a new thread as you have done here.

Below the box where you type there is a white banner marked 'additional options'. At the bottom of the banner is an option "Post a poll'.

Tick the box next to yes and enter the number of options you want for the poll.

Click 'submit thread' and it takes you to the next page where you can enter the poll option, make it public/private, close after a certain number of days. Should be self explainatory from then on in.

EDIT: Obviously the banner might not be white if you're using different display settings - sorry.
