New house!

Ok, first night in the new house, on my own, not even got the dog with me yet....I'm a teeny bit jumpy....might sleep with the light on. Any tips on getting used to it?

Congratulations on the new house. You could possibly do a bit of arranging to make everything homely, have a drink and have some music on for background noise.

Think of the mortgage payments. You'll soon get used to staying up all night worrying about being in your own home.

No alcohol in or I would! And SH, shooooooosh. Trying to actually get some sleep, not stay awake worrying!

Alternatively report a prowler and see if the lads will come round and keep you company...

Leave on the telly or perhaps some music turned down low.

Bill, she cannot do that. In the UK you need to buy a licence £145.00 before you can watch a TV. They even employ people to catch you out. Being a plod she probably wants to stay within the law.

Have you bought one yet milky?

PS when's the house warming?

Congrats on the new place.

Invite all the orgers round for a party = no longer alone.
