Re: Rear Hugger

Thought id ask a question hear does the rear hugger have to be a K3-K4 hugger as the newer ones dont fit also does it have to specify it a S version?

Re: Rear Hugger

Yes to both questions. Due to the higher rear subframe on the K3/K4, the hugger is a different shape and the mounting holes differ in the naked AFAIK.

Re: Rear Hugger

My Haynes Manual says it was the K4 model that had the rear sub frame mountings revised lowering the frame height by 40mm so does that mean that I can only get a SK4 hugger? Look like according to the OEM huggers its anything from the beginning of the K4 that I need onwards to the most recent

Re: Rear Hugger

Has yours got the toolbox in a compartment under the battery? If so, you need the K4 on hugger, if not, K3-K4 will be the one you need.

I've got a hugger available for the newer SV's. I'd say K4 onwards but all i know is it will fit my K9. I can send you pic's if you're still interested. And of course it's black.
