Recommend a cheap tablet pls..

After recommendations from you guys my daughter bought herself an Acer Transformer EeePad and its everything she wanted and more.

As a result my 9 yr old son now wants something he can download apps on so he can join in with us for games such as Hangin with friends, hes feeling very left out!! He also wants to be able to surf the web, you tube etc.. and wants to be able to play games such as Runescape. He has a netbook which he does use but wants access to the Android Apps so I was looking at the cheaper tablets such as:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...uctInformation
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/archos...43849-pdt.html

Could someone with experience of these or similar pls let me know whether they will be good enough for him to do what he wants.

I really dont want to spend more than £150.

Thanks, KJ xx

Thanks MZ, hadnt seen this one. He wanted a smart phone but only for playing apps so I think this would be cheaper and better for him. Its such a good price Im seriously tempted to get it now even though his birthdays not til the end of May.

Pretty sure you could get a 2nd hand good condition iPod touch for less than £150, basically an iPhone with text messaging/phone calling side removed, still got internet browsing, app store, email, camera etc. and he'd be cool in front of his mates having an apple device :) More than enough for a 9 year old.

I would hold off on buying it right now KJ, as I have seen this and other tablets on offer on EBAY daily deals, which are done through Ebuyers ebay shop.

They appear regularly as a daily deal

Also checkout Amazon for Scroll prices too
