WOW!

Cal on the front row! Bloody brilliant.

And that Spies crash. Talk about committed..... he should be. Trying to hang on during that off. Brilliant effort.

I'm looking forward to this season now. Really good to see so many bikes on the track aswell.

Oh, and if a Mod can change the thread title to Losail rather than Loseil that would be good. Ta.

Think Spies hand got trapped.

Highlighs were 6 CRT crashes, including 1 bike on fire.

Cal on front row!

Rossi 1 place ahead of the best CRT bike - EMBARRASING. At some point he'll need to stop blaming the bike.

Can't wait for tomorrow

I know, pretty disappointed to see Rossi back there. Obviously not a lack of skill though. I don't think it's so much blaming the bike, more that his riding style and the characteristics of that Ducati just don't seem to match.

Roll on tomorrow, cant wait to see the race.

That was last year's excuse. I was hoping for something better, or a more original excuse!

Nah, I just don't buy that from Rossi. At the level these guys ride at, it's almost certainly bike rather than rider. You can only push as hard as the bike will allow. Vicious circle though, the more the bike dents your confidence, the more you'll struggle.

Certain bikes must suit certain people and he just cant handle the duc.

Just makes me have more respect for what stoner did with it.

Or maybe he has never been the same since his high side at mugello in 2010

I think he can certainly handle it, but handling it and being able to excel with it are very different. Putting things into context, riding one of these even two or three seconds off the pace is still a world class ride. I reckon that to be able to run up at the front you must have to be totally comfortable with it, its not just a question of ability.

Fingers crossed for him later anyhow, I hope he can get back in the fight to spice things up a little. In the meantime, I'll have my eye on Crutchlow.

So what do you racers out there think of the Marquez move?

I thought it was a bit off, but then I've never raced. Couldn't help thinking that if it had been another circuit without so much of a run off area Luthi would have been down.
