First Trackday - Mallory Park
 

WooHoo! Just booked my first proper track day with Focused Events. I say proper because I've already done the Ron Haslam Race School which was awesome, but only 3 short sessions on the track.

So I've booked for the 3rd of August in a novice only day. Total cost is £199 including bike hire for a gsxr 600 :D aaaaaaandd Neil Hodgson will be there too. Very Chuffed and super excited.

Wow that's a good deal. You normally get fuel and tyre warmers included too when hiring bikes but not sure whether you will.

Whats the terms if you end up throwing it down the track?

I asked if there were any other costs like fuel etc and lovely lady said no. Excess is £550 if I stack it which isn't great but covers everything from road rash to it being broken in half.

That's uncanny, I've just been looking at that day at Mallory too.
I may just join you there, depends on how my first track day goes (next Monday, Snetterton) :D

Haha..I think I already have it. After the Ron Haslam school day I was hooked. I really want to track my SV but would want to insure it for the day which adds another £100 to the cost :(

Bit of a thread resurrection here. But my track day is tomorrow. After doing snetterton 300 on my SV I can't wait to try a proper track bike. Will hopefully try get some pics up.

Had an amazing day. Got a bit frustrated with organisation though, holding a whole group up because a few people were late and cutting sessions short. Other than that, amazing. Here are some shots:
