MOT
:D Happy to say that my bike passed it's MOT today with only 1 advisory for rear tyre.
New tyres getting fitted tomorrow that is all. |
Re: MOT
Congrats!
Mines passed on Friday with 2 advisories. One for 'loud exhaust', fine as its not road legal! and one for 'no chain guard' which I didn't even notice was missing... |

Re: MOT
Getting a new set of hoops fitted on Sat from Saltires :-)
£235 fitted from a Suzuki dealer. The Suzuki dealer in Glasgow want £275 for the same service. hmmmm |
Re: MOT
is it not going to cost you about £15-£20 to ride though to saltire and the time it takes would this not equate to the extra £40? take it if your going that way it makes sense.

Re: MOT

Re: MOT
Shona, I've been running Pirelli Angel ST tyres on Dot. I've done 4238 miles on them. There's defo plenty more life left (maybe 1500 to 2000 miles) in them but the rear has had another puncture and I don't fancy plugging it again so am going for a new set of Pirelli Rosso II tyres. Will see how I get on with them as they are a more sportier tyre than the ST's, and I suspect they won't last anywhere near 4000 miles :-)
What have you got on the Triumph? |
Re: MOT
I've got dunlops on mine at the mo- stress purchase as I hadn't noticed they were illegal oops. Got 4000 out of last lot of dunlops, just doesn't seem very much but sod it, all about the fun!

Re: MOT
Give the ST's a go they are really good in all conditions. I'd also recommend Michelin PR3's too, as a friend had them fitted to her GSX650F and I blagged a wee shot :-)
